500 beta testers before launch: thank you!

Over 500 anglers signed up to test Jom Mancing before the beta even opened. Here’s what that means, what you can try now, and what’s next.

By Jom Mancing Team

Before our beta even opened, more than 500 anglers had signed up to test Jom Mancing. We built this app because finding a good place to fish in Malaysia meant scrolling through Facebook groups and asking around. Seeing that many of you sign up told us we're not the only ones who felt that way.

Thank you to everyone who registered, shared the link, and told a fishing buddy about us.

What you can try now

The beta opened on 1 November 2026. Inside the app you'll find:

  • 850+ fishing ponds and natural spots on one map, including rivers, lakes and the sea
  • The fish you're likely to catch at each spot
  • A catch log to record every catch
  • An AI fishing assistant for tips and advice

How to join

Registered testers can download the app at jommancing.com/download. If you haven't registered yet, sign up at jommancing.com/penguji-beta.

Help us make it better

This is a beta, so you'll find bugs. Please report them, along with any ideas, in our Telegram group. Every piece of feedback shapes what we build next.

What's next

We're working on tide and moon times for each spot, sharing a fishing trip with friends, and more natural spots added by the community.

See you by the water. Jom mancing! 🎣
